At ShouldBee, our goal is to bring great characters to life. From your imagination to the physical world, we want to give artists a virtual toyshop to turn their creations into toys.

Starting this week, we are debuting a new feature that will allow accepted artists to bring their art alive via 3D Printing.

So what is 3D Printing?

3D Printing, or Additive Manufacturing, is a cutting edge technology that allows us to create detailed figurines from computer models by laying down successive layers of material.

This also lets us create toys based on your designs in a shorter amount of time and in lower runs. Our 3D printed figurines will be available in either multi-color sandstone or unpainted white plastic. If enough people pre-order, we’ll make the toy.

This week, we’re starting with two toy designs that you can own and help bring to life by Pre-Ordering. Both need only 25 Pre-Orders before we go into production and ship to your home. As with every ShouldBee toy, we will take you inside the production process, from prototype to final toy!

JMKit Minx Bunny Figure

From the world of JMKit, Minx is a toy bunny rabbit who was discovered as an imperfect “Bunny Buddy,” but left unwanted because of her missing eye. Then, a kind little girl found her and stitched her a new heart-shaped eye and showed her what it was like to be loved. As a toy, you can take her home, care for her and create your own stories!

Plague Doctor Figure by Bezzalair

From the mind of ShouldBee artist Bezzalair, comes the Plague Doctor Figure. Inspired by the Plague Doctors who treated victims of the Black Plague in Europe. Ward off evil spirits and bubonic plagues alike with your own talisman-like figure.
